The initial logo presented to me was made in Power Point and the client had requested to make a more official one that could be suitable for an app. I sought to keep the original idea intact of having 8 circles to describe the 8 different organizations and mission connected to LGN.
As most of the members of the organization were also engineers that work with devices, I chose the imagery of a simplified microchip to portray the word ‘network’. It serves as an icon they can recognize, connecting an everyday element in their normal day-to-day, and letting it represent a more abstract part of their beliefs.
I joined the logo together into a graphic motif to further communicate the expanding mission LGN has while they build organizations united in the same core beliefs.
