Doughbag is a small newly created beanbag company, with a mission to bring comfort & relaxation to people lives with our giant (& not so giant) beanbags.
The client asked for an illustrated design on a box 20x15cm and a duffle bag of 115x35x35cm. There were not very many details on the aesthetic direction, so I was free to come up with the style of the illustration. At the middle of the project, they sent me a clipart of a person on a beanbag, and told me to draw a similar design.

I had a few sketches before this that were more abstract, but these were the character designs I had come up with after they sent me their clipart sample.

The client landed on a character with flowing hair and I developed all the sides of the packaging further, putting sizing markers and the tagline inside the cover of the box.

The back of the duffle bag consists of a simple instruction on how to assemble the beanbag.
