Alon de Palmera is a perfume brand crafting timeless scents inspired by waves, palms, and quiet romance in the islands. Every fragrance offers a special memory in motion.

I was approached by a long-time friend from Metro Manila who was helping his friend out in a start-up fragrance brand. He trusted me with designing the overall brand identity, logo, label, and naming. Without visual ideas given to me to get me started, I offered him and his friend three different mood boards to choose from, each relating to a different demographic and aesthetic.
They landed on a more high-class, conservative look, without it looking too warm or too cold, too loud or too discreet. This mood board offered subtlety and elegance, drawing attention to its romance and vibrancy with existing confidence and class.

“Alon” by itself is Tagalog for tide, while Palmera is a kind of palm tree. Combining it together with “de Palmera” translates to “Waves from Palmera” or “Tides of Palmera.” It speaks of a place full of memories and a peaceful romance.

The icon is made up of four components (Palm Tree, Letter ‘A’, Letter ‘P’, and a Wave) fused together with script calligraphy. The brand colors join together the hues seen in a wave.
