Akinna is an e-commerce app/platform exclusively for live selling shoppers and live sellers only. It offers an interactive experience between sellers and shoppers, as well as guaranteed purchases all around!
As an avid live selling shopper in Shopee, I wanted to touch on this specific niche and create an E-commerce platform exclusively for live sellers only. I developed it as I learned UXUI Design and Figma at a [UXUI Specialist Class] at CIIT College of Arts and Technology (Quezon City, Philippines). This project won Best User Research.
Live shopping in Shopee, TikTok, and other platforms can be a hassle. Since these platforms offer more than simple live-stream shopping, finding my way to the live selling section took too many clicks. Trying to find my followed shops was a pain, too. Even the process and rules for each sellers were sometimes hard to understand or find.
So I came up with a platform that could give all live-sellers their own digital space, where their desired information is organized neatly, and shoppers can immediately find their way around them. Just like an ordinary marketplace full of shops with real sellers, Akinna offers a digital marketplace with real-time sellers and shoppers.
Registering for Akinna only requires a phone number and verificcation, and a username with password. Then it would let you choose your preferences which would contribute to your starting algorithm in the app.
This on-boarding section was added after the first initial testing when someone new to live selling was turned off immediately from not knowing how live-selling works. So I added a few ground-rules that would help introduce the app.
